Video software provider adds to board

Video software provider VidiSolutions has appointed two people to its board of directors. The New York-based company said it has added Fred Mueller as chairman. Mueller was formerly president of the Visual Network Group, a subsidiary of national broadband carrier Net2000; he also served as chief executive of FreBon International, a video conferencing and network services provider. VidiSolutions said it has also appointed Thomas Wynne to its board. Wynne is a partner with Sycamore Creek Development and has held executive positions with MCI, now a division of WorldCom. VidiSolutions develops streaming-media software that lets people record, send and receive video messages via applications such as e-mail and instant messenger.
