United Online adds board member

United Online has appointed Kenneth Coleman to its board of directors. Coleman was executive vice president of global sales, service and marketing for SGI until his retirement in June 2001. He also has held management positions at Hewlett-Packard and Activision. The appointment increases the number of United Online board members to six. United Online formed earlier this year through the merger of free Internet service providers NetZero and Juno Online Services. The company plans to continue free services under the NetZero brand and run paid services through the Juno name.
