"Survivor" loses fans online

"Survivor" mania has died down online, with Nielsen/NetRatings reporting 107,744 at-home viewers on the CBS-sanctioned "Survivor II" Web site the night of its final TV episode, down about 58 percent from the 254,000 people who logged on during the previous season's finale. The "Survivor" sequel stranded 16 strangers in the Australian Outback for 42 days. Like the original show, in every episode each participant voted secretly to knock one fellow survivor out of the game. The remaining cast member walked away with $1 million.
