Starr report arrives online

As expected, the House of Representatives posts Kenneth Starr's report that charges President Clinton with lying under oath.

As expected, the House of Representatives has posted the Office of Independent Counsel's report, which outlines "substantial evidence" that President Clinton lied under oath, among other charges.

The report, rife with salacious details about sexual encounters between Clinton and former White House intern Monica Lewinsky, is at the center of a political storm that may spur Congress to consider drafting articles of impeachment to remove the president from office.

The 445-page document also can be found at the House's site, the Library of Congress site, as well as mainstream news sites, such as CNN.

Alongside the report, the latter site has posted a preliminary rebuttal from the White House concerning the findings of Kenneth Starr, the independent counsel investigating the Clinton-Lewinsky affair. Heavy Net traffic may affect users' access to the report and the rebuttal, however.
