Spring has sprung! Google is celebrating the season of temperate weather with a specially designed spring-themed version of the famous logo.
Today's Google doodle is based on a design by Finnish textile company Marimekko, featuring flowers, butterflies, a lorry with some, er, they're probably eggs, is that a stork? and a kind of pink stripey thing.
It's a good feeling to leave work in daylight, so we approve this Google doodle. The doodle marks the vernal equinox, one of the two days a year that is roughly the same length as the night.
To be more precise, the equinox is defined by astronomers as the moment that the Earth is tilted neither towards or away from the Sun -- or something. We're too busy pressing our faces against the window of CNET Towers wishing we were outside playing in the sunshine.
