Spiegel CD-ROM allows online shopping

Spiegel is unveiling its spring/summer catalog on CD-ROM at the National Retail Federation's convention in New York today. The catalog comes with an Internet browser that will allow shoppers to make purchases online.

The CD-ROM includes 3,000 items and provides shoppers with the ability to search for specific brands, sizes, and prices. It will be available to consumers in February.

Spiegel currently provides online shopping and credit applications at its Web site.
