SnapStream updates TV software

SnapStream Media, a Houston-based software maker that specializes in video applications for recording TV programs on a PC, announced a new version on Thursday of its Personal Video Station software. Version 3 includes new functions for pausing, fast-forwarding and rewinding live television, along with media server functions for beaming video signals to other devices via Wi-Fi signals. The SnapStream software is priced at $100.

SnapStream also announced an agreement with Shuttle Computer, a PC maker specializing in small PCs for home use, to include Personal Video Station in Shuttle's XPC system line.
