Australian online retailer Millennius has announced it will bring the SmartQ smartwatch to market in Australia, priced at just AU$99.

Made by Chinese company Smart Devices, the smartwatch features a 1.54-inch screen (240x240 resolution) and runs Android 4.3.
An Ingenic JZ4775 low-power CPU running at 1GHz powers the device, with 512MB RAM onboard and both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Other features include a motion sensor, water resistance, built-in MP3 player (with headphone jack) and voice recognition.
The spec sheet lists the battery life as between 2 and 12.5 days — we assume that you’d need Wi-Fi turned off (along with a lot of the other features) in order to get close to the 12-day mark.
The SmartQ will be available from the Millennius website on 31 January and we’re hoping to have a review unit in for test soon.
