Short Take: Web film site tries to reel in subscriptions

Entertainment company Alwaysi says it will launch a paid subscription service, dubbed "Unlimited Cinema," that will offer people thousands of feature-length and short films in all genres, with new films added daily. The service will also offer personalized movie subscriptions, online film premieres, celebrity interviews and online film festivals. San Francisco-based Alwaysi said the movies will be streamed in Microsoft's Windows Media format. A 12-month subscription will start at $4.99 per month.
