Short Take: Warner Bros. musicians sign up for singing e-cards

Warner Bros. Records says it has teamed with online card site Egreetings Network to promote musicians through email greeting cards. Under the deal, San Francisco-based Egreetings will create free, animated music greetings featuring artists from Warner and Reprise Records, including Barenaked Ladies, Joni Mitchell, K.D. Lang, Chris Isaak and Paula Cole as well as new artists. Egreetings will promote the CD sales; Warner will display Egreetings music cards on its label and artists' sites.
