Short Take: NetObjects' site goes dark during relocation

The site for NetObjects, a developer of Web site building applications, was dark for several days before a message appeared explaining that the snafu had resulted from the company's move to a new headquarters. The message said that the site came down when NetObjects' servers were moved, and that it took longer than anticipated to get the servers running again. Samir Arora, NetObjects' chairman and chief executive, assured customers in a letter that all the company's critical systems were functioning during the transition and continue to be available.
