Short Take: Napster sponsors hard rock music tour

It's under attack by the record industry, but that's not stopping MP3-swapping firm Napster from playing a part in the music business' big leagues. The start-up is sponsoring a free concert tour by hard rock band Limp Bizkit, which defends the Napster software as a way to try out music before buying it. Napster is being sued by the Recording Industry Association of America and by heavy metal artists Metallica for alleged copyright violations.
