Short Take: Lycos teams with AdOne for classifieds

Lycos has signed on AdOne to power its classifieds section, a move that will replace Excite-owned Classifieds 2000 on the Lycos site. AdOne charges newspapers around the country a fee to post their classifieds. It will share with Lycos all advertising revenue generated from the new joint service.
