Short Take: Hacker admits to stealing credit card info

Carlos Felipe Salgado, Jr. 36, accused of collecting 100,000 credit card numbers off the Internet and trying to sell them, pleaded guilty to federal charges. Salgado was arrested following an FBI sting in which he tried to peddle the information for $260,000 to agents posing as organized crime figures. He could get up to 30 years in prison and a $1 million fine when he is sentenced November 25.
