Short Take: Former Mattel exec joins Mslide as CTO

Marc Roegiers, former chief technology officer at Mattel Interactive, has joined online photo broadcasting service Mslide as CTO, company representatives are slated to announce tomorrow. At Mattel, Roegiers was responsible for delivering the popular "Carmen Sandiego," "Pokemon Project Studio" and "Nickelodeon" learning products to market. Launched a little more than a year ago, San Francisco-based Mslide allows amateur photographers to turn their digital pictures into online slide shows accompanied by music.
