Short Take: FCC upholds decision moving Teligent to other part of airwaves

A decision that last year ended a feud between billionaire backers of competing wireless projects for telephone and Internet services by relocating Teligent in the airwave spectrum has been upheld by federal regulators, the Associated Press reported. The original decision was made in March 1997 by the Federal Communications Commission under former chairman Reed Hundt. The five-member commission now has four new members, including new chairman Bill Kennard.
