Short Take: Excite teams with U.K. listings site

Excite and Scoot, a searchable database of U.K. business and entertainment listings, are joining forces on a new service called ExciteScoot. The service will combine Scoot's listings and Excite's search functions, letting users pick the type of business, restaurant, or venue they want and the approximate location. ExciteScoot will be available at the end of November at Excite United Kingdom.
