Short Take: Asian-American sites to merge

Internet community Click2Asia and magazine and Web publisher aMedia have agreed to merge to create a larger media company targeting Asian-Americans. As previously reported, the companies have been close to merging since November. At that time, New York-based aMedia laid off its staff in Los Angeles and San Francisco to trim costs in anticipation of a deal with Los Angeles-based Click2Asia. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
