Short Take: AOL signs on perfume merchant

America Online has signed a four-year, $12 million agreement for the Fragrance Counter to be the exclusive fragrance retailer in AOL's Women's channel, Shopping channel, Sports channel, and the Electra and Love@AOL areas. The Fragrance Counter also will be the exclusive fragrance retailer on AOL.com. The two companies will share transaction revenues, and AOL will receive warrants from Fragrance Counter parent company Allou Health & Beauty Care.
