Short: Financial Times, Verity licensing agreement

Financial Times Information, a company within Pearson, signed a strategic licensing agreement with Verity for the development of a new generation of online and CD-ROM-based information products. Verity's Development Toolkit will be used for advanced searches on the FT Profile Database via new Web products. In addition, the service will be moved to a new environment in which Verity's Search '97 will be integrated.
