E-mail marketer Digital Impact says it has partnered with Coremetrics to draw on its customer behavior data for direct marketing campaigns. San Mateo, Calif.-based Digital Impact plans to incorporate Coremetrics data analysis into its e-mail marketing service for enterprise businesses. Digital Impact's customers include Hewlett-Packard and Gap. Financial details were not disclosed.
The deal is the latest coupling in the e-mail marketing industry, a lucrative and competitive market that is quickly consolidating. On Monday, Real Media signed on with online newsletter provider Topica to expand its e-mail management services. Earlier this year, DoubleClick bought e-mail providers FloNetworks and MessageMedia.
