Macromedia released an update Friday for Dreamweaver MX 2004, the latest version of its widely used Web-authoring application. The update includes numerous performance enhancements that will enable the application run up to 50 percent faster on a Windows PC and 70 percent faster on Mac OS X, Macromedia said in a statement.
