LivePlanet creates president position

Onetime Mattel Media President David Haddad has been named president and chief operating officer of LivePlanet, the entertainment company started last year by actors Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. Haddad most recently was founder and CEO of party-planning portal eParties, which he sold to eToys in June 2000. Haddad also served as president of Mattel Media and worked at Walt Disney for six years. He is not replacing anyone at LivePlanet because the company just created the position.
