InfoSeek to Launch Net Search Tool

InfoSeek announced today that it will launch InfoSeek Guide, its new Internet navigation tool, on December 8.

The new service includes a searchable database of the full text of over 1 million World Wide Web pages and all the articles in more than 10,000 Usenet newsgroups.

InfoSeek Guide, like its predecessor Net Search, is a free, advertiser-supported service. A prerelease version is currently available at the InfoSeek Web site.
