Harmonic Communications, an Internet marketing technology company, says it has raised $11.5 million from Dentsu, a giant, Tokyo-based advertising agency. Under the deal, the two companies will develop an application of Harmonic's marketing technology for the Japanese market. Harmonic's software lets marketers manage large-scale promotional campaigns from one system for online and offline mediums including broadcast, print, wireless and the Internet.
