Welcome to CNET Australia's App of the Day, where you can see some of the coolest, silliest and most useful apps in action.

I'm not actually convinced that the iPhone is the best medium for ArtRage, the art app popularised on the iPad — for a start, the iPad has a bigger screen that is more conducive to arting. Nevertheless, this scaled-down version has some pretty cool options for small-screen scribbling. Everything's pretty easy to find: you have brushes and paints, accessible from the bottom corners of the screen, and you can squidge paint across the canvas to your heart's content. If you have trouble finding anything, there is an easily located help menu, too, which makes it super easy to use.
