An Indiegogo campaign... to fund a Kickstarter campaign

A group of "entrepreneurs" (or comedians) have taken to Indiegogo to raise funds to start a Kickstarter campaign.

This is a thing that is happening right now. A team of people from California are trying to raise US$500 on Indiegogo to build a professional-quality Kickstarter campaign so that they can fund their idea.

What is their idea? We don't know. They haven't specified. Probability is high that it's an elaborate joke, especially since it's filed under "Comic" (the closest the site gets to "Comedy") and includes phrases such as "Follow the rules, exchange widgets for wallops, set up social media sites to self monitor and determine to make yourself better than others — borrow if necessary."

Rewards include retaining the rights to your own name, a listing in the Kickstarter campaign credits and a thank you letter or phone call (but not both). And there's a video to go with it, but it's no more enlightening than the project page.

But our curiosity is piqued. We'll most certainly be keeping an eye out for Baron Von Husk's Kickstarter project, although we suspect it's not going to be quite as interesting as the lead-up. Or maybe it's all an elaborate advertising campaign for Indiegogo or Kickstarter.
