Portal Games Come to Nintendo Switch
Welcome to the Aperture Science computer-aided enrichment center.
The Portal Companion Collection is hitting the Nintendo Switch eShop on Tuesday, the company revealed during its Nintendo Direct Mini showcase, giving you another chance to play Valve's classic puzzle-platform games. The two-game compilation will set you back $20.
The original Portal came out in 2007, and saw you using an experimental portal gun to solve puzzles and move through an obstacle course at the behest of creepy AI GLaDOS. It's pretty short and sweet, but extremely memorable.
Its 2011 sequel is much longer and more ambitious, with a wider variety of environments to explore and a cast that includes J.K. Simmons (best known for his role as J. Jonah Jameson in the Spider-Man movies). The second game also includes multiplayer, which you can play locally, in split-screen or online with a friend on Switch.
