Video game sale: Buy two, get one free
Head to your local GameStop store (or just browse online) and you can score one free preowned (i.e. used) game for any console/system when you buy two.
It's summer, you're bored. Too hot to play outside, too cold inside the movie theater. (Seriously, why do they chill it down to 38 degrees in there?) Sounds like the perfect time to stock up on some new games for your Xbox, PS3, PSP, Wii, or Nintendo DS.
GameStop is offering a buy-two-get-one-free deal on used games for all consoles. Free shipping, too.
To take advantage of the deal, add three games to your cart, then apply coupon code B2G1FREE. After that, add coupon code SAVER to get free shipping. (Sales tax may still apply.) Both coupons expire July 17.
You can mix and match on this: you don't have to stick with games for the same console. So, you could choose one for Wii, another for Xbox 360, a third for Sony PSP, and so on. Obviously the freebie will be the one with the lowest price.
Also, this offer is available both online and in-store. So if you have a GameStop store near you, you can browse the available titles in person.
All GameStop's used titles are guaranteed to work. However, they're not guaranteed to come with a box or manual. What's more, check the prices before you buy: many used games cost only a few bucks less than their new counterparts.
Of course, when you throw a free one into the mix, that's hard to beat. What do you think? Is this a deal worth jumping on, or are cash-conscious gamers better off with a subscription service like GameFly?
Bonus deal: Today's Giveaway of the Day is a good one: Paragon Partition Manager 11SE. It's a nice utility for partitioning and managing hard drives. But remember, it's available today only, and you have to install it today, too.
