Tip of the Day: add cover art to iTunes music
If you import music into your iTunes library from CD or other music-download services, it might not always have the right cover art associated with the music file. Here's how to get the proper artwork.
Having the right cover art next to your tracks can make all the difference when listening to music on the go.
If you import music into your iTunes library from CD or other music-download services, it might not always have the right cover art associated with the music file — or it will just show a grey box with a musical note.
Luckily, there's a pretty easy fix to make sure that your songs all have cover art before you transfer them across to your iPhone or iPod. First, make sure you are signed in to the iTunes store, and then select all the files you want to find album art for. Right click and scroll down to "Get Album Artwork". The iTunes store will now find the album art, provided it's in their database and your music tags are correct.
