Easy to clean. Prepara

Don't let anyone ever tell you the act of cooking isn't akin to a contact sport. It may be a delicate dance--both in commercial kitchens and at home--but to get down to business and to get the meal done right, a certain frenetic pace is involved that transcends the activity. In short, sometimes we just have to power our way through the preparation. This means cutting and slicing, seasoning and searing, sometimes with reckless abandon. And when that happens, things get dirty.

One of the dreaded phrases in the kitchen is "cross-contamination." It is always important to pay attention to this when handling raw food. However, it is not always feasible to plan ahead for every instance. Sometimes, you find yourself with one hand dirty, one hand clean, and a need for freshly ground black pepper. Unfortunately, pepper grinders aren't too well-known for being able to withstand a good washing after use. Unless, of course, it's water-resistant.

Rather than running to the sink to clean up while in the middle of a recipe, the Prepara Water Resistant Mill allows for users to wash up after the fact. Featuring a watertight chamber protected with an o-ring seal, the grinder is designed for easy cleaning. As an additional benefit, not only does the design keep moisture out, but it also helps to keep stray grinds in--combined with germs being washed away, perhaps the only time and place in the kitchen where everything is where it is supposed to be.
