Brother HL-1240 OS X printer drivers don't work The latest Brother HL-1240 OS X printer drivers may not work properly under OS X. Carl Houghton writes: "I thought I was the only one with the problem but I've seen other reports on the Web that confirm that the driver just sits there n the print manager after printing is initiated and hangs without printing anything. I have been able to reset the printer from the front panel to get it to print out a quarter of a page."

TCP/IP related kernel panic Fix? A user reports a fix that appears to have cured a kernel panic on his machine: make sure the Load Only When Needed option in the Classic TCP/IP control panel is not checked. After making the change, the reader noted his almost daily kernel panics stopped altogether.
