Indecent Exposure 45: Infernal exhaust

Happy one year anniversary to us. Plus, why we're late, seeing the light (whatever the source), and a closer look at macro lenses.

Today's question
Buying a macro lens

Hi Matt and Lori,
I'm in the market for a macro lens for my Nikon D40x and was wondering how one would go about choosing one. I primarily shoot yarn, knitting, and food for my blog (www.knitguy.com) and while I use the macro setting a lot, I think I'd probably be happier if I also had a macro lens. Budget is a bit of an issue because I am a college student but my birthday is coming up which is always helpful.
Thanks and love the show,
Adam (aka. Knitguy)
