iDVD 5 (#4): Burning disc doubles drive space requirement; disc image naming

CNET staff

As another entry in our ongoing coverage of iDVD 5, a reader reports two "bugs" that he has experienced:

"First, canceling the process of creating a disc image doubles the size of one's project. I nearly had a heart attack when iDVD wouldn't let me burn my DVD (all my hard work!). It turns out my project jumped in size from 2.1 GB to 4.2 GB and so, iDVD thought, it wouldn't fit onto a DVD-R. The solution, thank goodness, was to quit iDVD and reload my project. Things were back to normal again.

"Second, when I save my iDVD project as a disc image it always ends up being named My Great DVD, no matter what name I give it."
