Get Grand Theft Auto IV (PC) for $7.50

And some other hefty game discounts as well. It's all part of Direct2Drive's annual Spring Sale. Not all the deals are gems, but many are golden.

Originally $50, Grand Theft Auto IV is now available for download for just $7.50. Score!

Grand Theft Auto IV is widely regarded as one of the best action-adventure games of all time. If you never got around to buying it, your wait just paid off. This week only, Direct2Drive is selling Grand Theft Auto IV (PC) for just $7.50.

But wait, there's more. That's just one of the heavily discounted titles in Direct2Drive's Spring Sale, which is now in its second week. (Sorry I didn't bring this your way sooner, but I didn't see anything too exciting in last week's batch of games.)

Other bargains worth considering, IMHO: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition for $14.95, Supreme Commander Gold for $7.50, and Men of War for $2.50.

There are about 20 sale titles in all, with discounts ranging from 50-83 percent. So if you're a gamer, this looks like a great time to stock up. (In case it's not obvious, these are all downloads, not boxed editions.)

Personally, I think GTA IV for $7.50 is hard to pass up. I started playing it a couple months back (grabbed it during a Steam sale), and it really is an amazing game. I do have a few quibbles with it, which I won't go into here, but let's just say that if you like your games nonviolent, keep shopping.

Bonus deal: What a bundle! Dell Home has the Kodak EasyShare ESP-7 wireless multifunction printer and EasyShare C180 10.2-megapixel camera for $129 shipped. Sadly, the camera itself lacks Wi-Fi, but it's still an amazing deal.
