Get a 4.3-inch Insignia GPS for $29.99

This deal expires at midnight, but I expect it'll sell out before noon. It's the lowest price I've ever seen--by far--on a nav system that isn't an iPhone app.

For just $30 (plus shipping), the Insignia NS-NAV01 GPS should get you where you're going.

Holy bagels!

Today only, Best Buy outlet store Cowboom has a refurbished Insignia NS-NAV01 4.3-inch GPS for $29.99. Shipping adds another $5.

That blows all previous GPS deals out of the water. It'll almost certainly sell out, so I'm going to keep this is as brief as possible.

Update: Yep, sure enough, it's sold out. Sorry about that! If you're still interested, Overstock has the same model for $55.99--still an amazing price, though not quite as compelling.

Insignia is Best Buy's house brand. The NS-NAV01 features a 4.3-inch touch screen, text-to-speech (meaning it announces actual street names), and Navteq maps of the United States.

This refurb comes with everything (car charger, windshield mount, etc.) except the manual, which is available online as a PDF.

Reviews of this model are decidedly mixed. On Best Buy's product page (which, FYI, is not where the deal is located--use the link up top), users rated it 3.1 stars out of 5 on average, with slow performance and questionable map updates being the chief complaints.

Still, 30 bucks for a 4.3-inch GPS with text-to-speech? That's mighty hard to pass up. I think slow GPS is better than no GPS, so if you're in the market for a nav system and don't have much cash to spare, this could be the deal to jump on.

Bonus deal: Another all-time low: Amazon has the refurbished Magnavox NB500MG1F Blu-ray player for $59.99 shipped. This is the same model Wal-Mart has been selling (new) for $78. Thanks to reader Bryan for the tip!
