Apple has released a software update for second-generation Apple TVs that addresses a screen-flickering problem a number of people have been having.
Following the recent OS X 10.6.7 update that in part specifically addressed a graphics bugs being experienced by new 2011 MacBook Pro owners, Apple has also released an Apple TV update that addresses the graphics flickering experienced after the recent 4.2 software update for that system. We outlined the initial bug in a previous article.
The latest update, version 4.2.1, is issued with the following features:
We recommend that everyone being affected by the Apple TV flickering bug update to this latest version. This update comes only a couple of weeks after the initial 4.2 update that introduced the graphics bug.
