Apple has released iCal 1.5.5, a minor update to the standard calendar application for Mac OS X.

The new release includes improvements in iSync synchronization on computers running Mac OS X v10.2. iCal 1.5.4 or later includes security enhancements to help protect your computer when subscribing to calendars or importing events with alarms that open files or applications.

This new version is available through Software Update or as a 6 MB Web download.
