In a short aside at tonight's Cupertino launch of the new MacBook and MacBook Pro, Steve Jobs casually introduced a new Cinema Display monitor, fashioned in purdy aluminium and glass.
This 24-inch LED-backlit widescreen display has a resolution of 1,920x1,200 pixels, built-in iSight video camera, mic and speakers. There's also three USB sockets, so you can leave your peripherals plugged in when you have to grab your laptop in a rush.
It's available in November for £649 direct from the Apple Store. -Nick Hide
