LAS VEGAS -- Giant fridges have been all the rage at CES 2015 thus far. We first saw LG test its own capacity limits with a new 34-cubic-foot Door-in-Door model .

Now, Whirlpool has introduced a Double Drawer French Door Refrigerator to its lineup -- a model that's not as concerned about capacity as segmented drawers that give you the opportunity to organize your favorite foods and beverages optimally.

It features two "soft-close" drawers that sit side-by-side -- a change from the traditional four door french door models.

The left drawer has custom temperature controls so you can separate your snacks, cold drinks, deli, cheese or thawing frozen meats from the rest of the fridge, while the right drawer has a "FreshFlow produce preserver" reserved for your fruits and vegetables.

Whirlpool has also announced a Smart Top Load Washer and Dryer set at CES 2015; both it and the Double Drawer French Door Refrigerator are supposed to be available in the Spring. Check out the rest of our CES 2015 coverage here.
