LG's feature a smaller sealed compartment that makes it easy to grab your favorite foods without letting cool air out of the main storage space. This door that's nestled within the larger refrigerator door is perfect for beverages, yogurt and other snacks that you're likely to reach for more frequently.

Door-in-Door isn't new to LG, but they've just added a new model to the lineup -- the $5,999 "Mega-Capacity" LPXS34886C.

The LFXS32766S was LG's reigning Door-in-Door capacity champ at 32 cubic feet, but this new model ups the ante by 2 cubic feet to deliver 34 cubic feet of chilled-air goodness.

This large refrigerator offers left and right Door-in-Door compartments; open the left door with a lever at the bottom of the fridge panel and the right one with a button on the right fridge panel. It has a "contoured" black glass finish that's supposedly impervious to pesky fingerprint smudges.

The LPXS34886C also features an on-the-go troubleshooting option accessible via the Android-only Smart Diagnosis app. This $5,999 model will be on display at CES 2015, so check back for hands-on updates.
