Virex 7.5b1/Eudora conflict?

Earlier this week we noted a possible conflict between the current beta of Virex 7.5 and Palm Desktop. MacFixIt reader David Bills notes a more serious conflict with the Eudora email client:

"Virex 7.5 Beta 1 detected a virus in my Eudora trash mailbox and incorrectly deleted the entire mailbox without warning. This needs to be handled differently. What if it had been my inbox?"

None of the MacFixIt staff uses either Eudora or the Virex beta, so we can't confirm this problem in-house. If you've experienced similar problems, please drop us an email at Late-breakers@macfixit.com.
