Utilities Updates: Faust's Friend: MacInstall; DiskTracker; ClickCopy; Jedit; Empty Servers Now!; more

Faust's Friend 2.1 is now available. The only change in this version is a fix to work with Slashdot's new code. Faust's Friend is a headline news grabber for the Mac; it includes MacFixIt headlines.

MacInstall 1.3.1 is a Mac-only shareware software installer. This release adds Mac OS 9.2.1 support, actions are marked in the editor, and the default memory settings have been changed to avoid out of memory errors.

DiskTracker 2.2b1 is a disk cataloging with a Finder-like interface. This release contains a number of bug fixes to and adds built-in support for the PowerFile DVD Jukebox.

ClickCopy 1.0.1 is a CMM to copy files, make aliases, and move files easily. This update works under Mac OS 9.2.1.

Jedit 4.0.9(1) is the English version of the popular Japanese text editor. This release fixes several bugs with remote file saving when working with NetFinder 2.3.

Empty Servers Now! 3.0 deletes Servers folder contents for faster startups. This update works with more configurations without modification.

Sorenson Broadcaster 1.1.1b2 adds support for USB audio.

Mactella 1.3 is a client for the Gnutella file sharing system. This update adds a new download mechanism and the ability to play media files while they are being downloaded.

Aimster 1.009 is a peer-to-peer file sharing tool based on the AIM protocol. This update adds resumable downloads, better information on the transfer rate, downloads cancel better, and tooltips have been replaced by help balloons. 

Tiff-Sight 1.2 is a viewer for fax & multipage TIFF files. This update adds performance improvements, it drops support for pre-Mac OS 8.6 machines, and it now requires CarbonLib 1.2 or later.
