Utilities Updates: DiscVue; piDock; InstallerMaker; HipFlics; isaBook; more

DiscVue 1.1 is a file browser that allows you to view the contents of your hard drive much like you do in the Macintosh Finder. It's similar in concept to the Mac OS X Finder's column view. Typing in a letter, word, or phrase will now select the first item by that name.

piDock 1.4 is a file navigation and launching utility. New in this version: Added Control-Option-click on desktop to access menu (OS X only); Added Control-Option-click on folder to access folder's contents (OS X only); Added cut-copy-paste functions in register dialog; Fixed more OS X 10.1 compatibility issues.

Aladdin InstallerMaker 7.1 is the latest update of this tool to create software installers. New in this version: Create Mac OS X hybrid installers. Now you can create one installer for both your Mac OS X and Classic applications.

iDisk Manager 1.0 is designed to help users manage multiple iDisk accounts.

PassMan 1.6 will store all your passwords, codes, and phrases in one secure location.

Iconizer Pro 1.6.4 is an application developed for automatically generating a set of 32 bit full color icons from any pictures to be a background of CD, folder or other container windows.

Fast Internet 1.0 -is an AppleScript that will automatically connect you to/disconnect you from the internet. It's quicker than having to open Remote Access Status or Remote Access and clicking Connect/Disconnect.

Fast Delete 1.0 is an AppleScript that will automatically move a file to the trash and delete it.

Unhide Tools 1.0 makes invisible files visible (and is far from the only utility that can do this!). What appears special about this one is that it can unhide the Desktop Folder. The author writes: "All I found (including FileType, File Buddy, ResEdit, Resorcerer) do not allow you to select the Desktop Folder because they all use Nav Services or the good old selector that does not provide a means to select that folder. And, as I state in my notes: The Desktop Folder seems to be hidden on newer OS 9 versions, making it inaccessible..."
