Sure signs that summer is on the way: World Cup fever is building, and waterproof camcorders are being announced. We've even had a bit of sun. The Toshiba Camileo BW10 is Tosh's first tough camera ready for you to slip into your luggage.

The 1080p high-definition mini-camcorder is waterproof down to 2 metres, and weatherproof on the beach or the piste. It takes on other waterproof models such as the Kodak Playsport.

A 51mm (2-inch) LCD screen sits at the back. Inside, the CMOS sensor captures 5-megapixel stills, at a sensitivity up to ISO 1,600. There's a 10x digital zoom and face detection finding up to 12 faces too. Stills and video are recorded to SD, SDHC and SDXC cards up to 64GB in capacity, with direct YouTube upload and an HDMI connection for watching back on the telly.

The BW10 comes swathed in a yellow, turquoise or silver rubber wetsuit. It'll be available in time for the summer 'olidays, splashing down in June for £130.
