Kaleidoscope 2.2.3 addresses conflicts with a long list of applications, including RealPlayer 7, Outlook Express 5, File Sharing, Gerry's ICQ, and AMP Radio. Crash bug confirmed Harvey Rubinstein found that the Kaleidoscope 2.2.3 application led to freeze whenever he tried to open it from the control panel. Reverting to 2.2.2 eliminated the symptom. We contacted Greg Landweber (author of Kaleidoscope) about this and he replied: "I have received several reports of this problem, so I'd say it is indeed confirmed. Several people have told me that trashing the Kaleidoscope Preferences file in the Preferences folder fixes this problem. If trashing the Preferences file doesn't fix this problem, please let me know."
