The Qwerty keys to her heart

It wouldn't be right if I didn't take my own Valentine's advice, so last night I gave my girlfriend the Qwerty magnets motioned in our gifts for geeks Valentine's suggestions. I should at this point out that my girlfriend isn't a geek -- she leaves that to me. That made giving this present a real risk. Would she see the funny side of recycled keyboard parts?

Her first response was, "Is that hygienic?" which she then quickly followed up with, "I hope there isn't someone else's hand grease all over them".

Once I'd assured her that there were laws about selling things that other people have wiped their hand grease on, or dribbled over, without at least washing them first, she seemed more pleased with her present. Once home she popped them on the fridge, where she assures me they will stay. At least for a while.
