Tim Willis writes: "After updating to Acrobat Reader 4.05 (including the plug-in for Netscape Communicator), when I open a web page PDF file, Reader opens and the page is readable. However, when I click on any portion of the document, it shuts down Communicator. I have checked our recent Adobe Reader chat groups and found 4-5 people with same issue." PhotoDeluxe install and Mac OS 9 warning Charlie Downs warns: "The version of Adobe PhotoDeluxe on the UMAX CD replaces the Mac OS 9 ATM control panel (version 4.5.2) with an earlier, non-OS 9 compatible version. It also installs ObjectSupport Lib." Installer Observer error? A reader found that Installer Observer 2.3 "has developed some quirky behavior under Mac OS 9. Every time I quit the program, I get a message that the program has unexpectedly quit due to a Type 10 error. According to the program's author, this appears to be an intermittent problem that some users are having. He hopes to fix it in the next release."
