A new twist on an old favorite. Carson Rotisserie

Ever since there have been backyards, there have been backyard cookouts. There is just something undeniably appealing about cooking food over an open fire. After all, it's hard not to enjoy something that has been so integral to our survival since our caveman days. While the meeting of food and flame may strike a chord that resonates with our distant ancestors, that doesn't mean we have to be stuck in the past. Now, we can take the fire with us.

More than just a portable grill, the Carson Portable Rotisserie Grill is specifically designed for cooking food on a skewer. Or rather, seven of them. With the capability to simultaneously cook seven skewers at once, the charcoal grill forces a new perspective on rotisserie cooking. Not only are the options increased, but because it is portable (the rotisserie grill folds up into the size of a suitcase), the grill offers a unique way to cook wherever the gathering happens to be.

Rotisserie grilling may not be something new in and of itself, but usually it is accomplished through the use of an accessory for a large, decidedly un-portable grill. Included with this rotisserie grill is a rechargeable 12-volt battery, or the unit can be operated via an AC adapter or a car outlet. For more-traditional grilling, an optional grill basket is available, making this portable grill capable of new twists and old favorites at the same time.
