Problems with .Mac and Hotmail

Several readers have recently reported an issue where e-mail messages sent through .Mac are being rejected by Microsoft's Hotmail servers.

One reader writes:

"I had read in the past that Microsoft sent .Mac mail into the spam folder at Hotmail. Now, they might just be blocking the domain entirely. I was sending an invite out to a group of friends and got a whole bunch of bouncebacks. Looking at the error message, they all had one thing in common... Hotmail addresses. So I resent the invite to them using a new group called 'Hotmail Users' while sending from my website's email address. Presto! No problem."
